Welcome to my Gallery

I am a private individual who just loves 1/12th scale dolls and dolls houses. I love making dolls for other people who do not have the skills themselves and I welcome commissions from anyone.

My dolls are all 1/12th scale and every single one is modelled individually, which means I cannot replicate them exactly. The particular dolls you see here may not still be available. However, I will always do my best to produce a doll in very similar style to those presented here if required.

If you have any comments, questions or requests please contact me with your requirements.

Click to enlargeThis is a late Georgian period Lady. Not a particularly wealthy woman, more of the 'ordinary' street type lady. She is wearing white stockings and pantaloons and gold brocade shoes. Gold brocade underskirt with gold lace trim and frill detail. Her gown is made from yellow, blue and pink floral striped cotton with yellow organza frill around the sleeves, and gold trim around the edges. A gold brocade stomacher with pink fringe detail. Her gold curly hair falls loosely around her shoulders.

Click to enlargeThis is quite the dandy young gent of the Regency period. He has white, tight-fitting breeches and black, over-the-knee leather riding boots. A shorter length white waistcoat with black buttons and a black silk cravat. A very fashionable blue and gold striped tailored stand collar jacket with gold trim, and two side pocket flaps. His brown curly hair is swept into a ponytail at the back and tied with a black silk bow. This is a very smart, swanky gent, suitable for any lady of the period.

Very wide, sleeveless tunic worn over the jerkin with brown fur trim. He has the fashionable whispy beard and flat, Tudor-style cap with feather and rose trim. This is quite a wealthy Tudor man, who would grace any Tudor house or mansion.

A blue cotton gown with lace apron and a blue, checked overskirt, gathered into a large bustle train at the back with pink flower trim. Click to enlargeThis is an ordinary, Victorian, working-class man. He wears a checked shirt and a flat cap with a neckerchief around his neck. Brown trousers and a light-coloured brown leather waistcoat. He's a well-worn, hard-working character.

Click to enlargeThis is a fairly wealthy Tudor Lady of good family. She wears an underskirt of gold patterned brocade, with a green over-dress with various ribbon trims. The sleeves are of the same green material slashed with gold brocade, with a heavily beaded criss-cross embroidered pattern. Her headdress is typical of the period, being a bead-edged French hood. This would have been a relatively well-to-do woman.

Click to enlargeThis is a Medieval Blacksmith or Armourer. He wears an unbleached calico overshirt over a brown knitted tunic. Brown hose and rust coloured woven breeches to the knee. He has thick leather brown boots and a thick leather apron, tied with leather thonging. This is a typical blacksmith of the period and his hands are modelled to carry a large hammer, sword, axe or any other item of his trade. He's a jolly character with a rather large nose!

Click to enlargeThis is a pair of good Dickensian characters. The woman on the left is a rather stout woman, dressed in a faded red dress with apron and mob cap. The woman on the right is dressed in a faded print dress with grubby apron and a bonnet - tied under the chin. She has a very bad skin condition, with warts, moles and pimples. These women are typical characters of the 19th Century.

Click to enlargeThis is a Medieval woman dressed in calico gown with under garments. She wears a braded tie around her waist and a horned head dress draped with calico cloth. Her gown is very simple, with very little adornment, quite befitting a woman of the time. She is suitable as a general housewife or washer woman of the period. She would have been an 'ordinary' sort of middle-class working person.

Click to enlargeThis is a very old lady. Bent over and resting on her staff. She wears a shabby, wine-coloured cotton dress with a cream petticoat, and a cream cotton apron. Black, lace-up leather boots and a cream coloured cotton head scarf. She is quite grubby and is suitable as a market woman, poor country woman or an old Gypsy woman.

Click to enlargeThis is a lady from the late Edwardian period. She is a fairly 'Well-To-Do' woman. She wears a pale blue simple straight dress with three rows of fringing to hip level. Her dress has silvery embroidered leaves on it and straight, three-quarter sleeves. She has a boa made from fringing around her neck to match her dress. Black, patent painted shoes with a strap and black bow on each one. This is a very 'Classy' lady.

Click to enlargeThis is a middle-aged street lady of the Georgian period. Although she wears a reasonable dress, she is still a bit 'grubby'. She wears a cream cotton peticoat with pink and white gingham underdress and pink cotton overdress. She has her dress 'hitched-up' to protect it from the dirty streets. She has a fichu around her neck and finishes her outfit with a large pink and black hat.
